🔎 #HM25: Exploring the Future of Industry in Hannover 🇩🇪⚙️

From 3/31 to 3/4, I had the privilege of attending Hannover Messe 2025 as part of the Catalan delegation, an initiative brilliantly organised by ACCIÓ #Stuttgart (Teresa Puerta) and #Berlin (Meritxell Marsà Sambola) offices.
It was an intense few days filled with #innovation, #collaboration, and a shared drive to shape the future of #industrialmanufacturing and #energysystems.
Together, we explored the cutting edge of #automation, #AI, and #energydigitization, visiting some of the top players in the sector, including:
🔹 ifm – showcasing next-level industrial sensors and IIoT connectivity.
🔹 Beckhoff Automation – where hardware meets real-time software to push the limits of motion control and intelligent automation.
🔹 @Phoenix Contact – pioneers in the electrification, networking, and automation of industry.
🔹 Incoretex GmbH – a deep dive into fiber optic sensing and real-time data applications for industrial systems.
🔹 German Aerospace Center (German Aerospace Center (DLR)) – where aerospace innovation meets industrial application, offering fresh perspectives on system integration, AI, and sustainability.
🔹 #Einsteintelescope project
🔹 and EEN NRW / NRW.Europa booths – connecting us with groundbreaking scientific and entrepreneurial networks across Europe.
One of the highlights was engaging with the Plattform Industrie 4.0 initiative, a major German effort to harmonise the #digitaltransformation of manufacturing with a strong focus on interoperability, cyber-physical systems, AI, and smart energy integration.
This ecosystem is not only setting the pace for Europe’s industrial future and #marketcompetitiveness – it’s also a clear signal of the importance of cross-border collaboration.
For BeChained and for the Catalan innovation ecosystem as a whole, this visit reinforced the value of collaboration between regions, shared standards, and a synchronized energy-digital transition.
